Easy Mason Jar Omelets

Easy Mason Jar Omelets
8 Large eggs
1/4 cup Whole milk
1/2 cup Mix-ins such as cheddar cheese, bell pepper, chopped spinach, jalapeno, mushrooms, and chopped ham
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking spray, for greasing

Grease pint-sized Mason jars with nonstick cooking spray.

Crack two eggs into each Mason jar with a tablespoon of milk and whisk using a fork. Season with salt and pepper.

Add your favorite omelet mix-ins to the Mason jars–you can refrigerate the jars at this point until ready to cook. When ready to cook, shake the jars to combine.

Bring a large pot of water to a simmer that comes 3/4 up the sides of the Mason jars. Place the Mason jars into the water and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until the eggs are cooked and puffed.

Remove the mason jars using tongs, allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve.
