This take on classic pizza is the perfect family night dinner.
1 cup Pizza sauce
1 cup Basil pesto
1 pint Cherry tomatoes, sliced
2 pounds Mozzarella, sliced
1 bunch Basil, leaves only
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Brush one of the baguettes with pizza sauce then top with 1 pound of the mozzarella. Top the remaining baguette with pesto, the rest of the mozzarella and the halved tomatoes
Place both baguettes onto a baking sheet and into the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the bread is browned around the edges.
Remove from the oven and top with the parm, basil and red pepper flakes, if using. Cut into wedges and serve.
