A fresh and bright take on a classic.
1 tbsp Honey
2 Apples, one of them thinly sliced
1/2 cup Cranberries
3 Rosemary bunches
Cran-apple or Cran-raspberry sparkling water
Large ice cubes
1.5 oz Scotch or whiskey
In a saucepan, place the apple cider and honey. Bring to a boil. As the cider is cooking, put the cranberries, rosemary and thin apple slices in a coffee press.
Once the cider and honey mixture comes to a boil, pour the contents into the coffee press to mingle with the apple slices, cranberries, and rosemary. Chill overnight.
The next day, place a large ice cube in each double old fashioned glass. Push the puncher down in the coffee press and fill each glass about 3/4 of the way full. Top with your sparkling water.
Garnish with more apple slices — skewered and spiraled for a fun look!
