How to Make the Best Sweet & Salty Popcorn
2 tbsp Coconut oil
1 tbsp Unsalted butter
1/2 cup Popcorn kernels
2 tbsp Granulated sugar
1/2 tsp Fine salt

In a large heavy-bottomed stainless pot, heat the coconut oil and butter over medium heat. Add a couple of kernels and cover the pot. The butter may begin to brown here and that’s good!

Once the kernels begin to pop, remove the pan from the heat, add the remaining ½ cup kernels, cover the pot, and return to the heat. Shake the pot to cover the kernels in the oil and sprinkle the kernels with the sugar and salt.

Cover the pot and continue to shake every once in a while as the kernels pop to coat well in the fat and sugar, about 3 minutes.

Once the kernels begin to slow down from popping, carefully lift the lid and pour into a bowl to serve.
