A home cooked meal on an air fryer time line.
1/2 pound Flank steak or sirloin
1 tablespoon Water
1 teaspoon Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon Water
1/2 teaspoon Toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, minced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 pound Green beans, stem ends trimmed
Sliced scallions, for garnish
Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Hot rice, for serving
Slice the beef 1/4-inch thick across the grain into 2- to 3-inch long pieces.
Combine the sliced beef, water, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and baking soda in a bowl. Mix until the meat is evenly coated, and then mix in the oil.
Let marinate for 20 to 30 minutes and preheat an air fryer to 400 F.
To make the sauce, mix the hoisin, oyster sauce, water, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic in a large bowl.
Add the marinated beef and green beans. Gently stir to coat.
Spread the beef and green beans out in the air fryer basket and cook until the green beans are crisp-tender and the beef is crisp at the edges, 8 to 10 minutes, opening and stirring halfway through.
Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve with hot rice.
